run toward Buddha and Kenneth grab both of them with my manipulator arms, put them on my back then run as fast as possible to Barnaby's Farmhouse while barking very very loudly NOT TODAY SATAN!

Buddha strains to weave magical energy into the dusty air, calling forth a fungal defender, but the spell violently splutters, draining his mystical reserves in a dizzying pulse of wasted arcane force that leaves only a tiny puff of useless gray spore-smoke. Nearby, Koma's mechanical limbs deploy with a sharp hiss of pneumatic servos, scooping up both the chameleon and Kenneth in a frantic effort to bolt, but the sheer press of the encircling vermin cuts off the exit. In that tangled second, the first bloated rat lunges across the grain heap, its yellowed incisors sinking with brutal force into Buddha.
